Denk mee over de toekomst van het verkeer in Surhuzum

Bent u ontevreden over het huidige Openbaar Vervoer in onze gemeente en vindt u bijvoorbeeld dat het tijd wordt voor een snelle buslijn langs de provinciale wegen? Of vindt u het juist belangrijk dat kleine dorpen gebruik kunnen blijven maken van het Openbaar Vervoer en dat de bestaande buslijnen behouden moeten blijven? Dan is dit een belangrijk moment om uw stem te laten horen en dit aan te geven in de enquête van de gemeente Achtkarspelen.

Verbouwing en renovatie van It Gebou

Het verenigingsgebouw aan “It Langpaed” is ontworpen in 1928 door architect J.C. Velting, is geinspireerd op de Amsterdamse school.
Het voorste gedeelte is monumentaal, hieraan mag niets gedaan worden.
De zaal werd in 1956 aan de achterzijde uitgebreid met een podiumgedeelte en een keuken en toilet. Nadien is het gebouw andermaal uitgebreid (zijgevel).
Deze gedeeltes vallen buiten bescherming van het rijks bevoegdheid.

Derde plaats voor Popkoor Akkoord tijdens zangconcours in Joure

Zaterdag 13 mei organiseerde de Bond van Zangkoren in Friesland, de BZF, haar jaarlijkse zangconcours in de Oerdracht in Joure. Dit jaar was de opzet van het zangconcours iets gewijzigd. Deze ‘nieuwe stijl’ betekende dat het concours losser en gemakkelijker van opzet is. Plezier in het zingen staat voorop! Een tiental koren presenteerden deze dag de door hun ingestudeerde nummers aan jury en publiek. Na de lunchpauze was het de beurt aan Popkoor Akkoord. Het inzingnummer van het koord was Avond.
