Rijpma Siersmederij ontwerper en maker gedenkteken Piet Paulusma

Zondag 19 maart was de onthulling van het monument ter ere van Piet Paulusma op de Cauberg in Valkenburg. Op maandagavond 20 maart zat ik aan tafel bij de maker van dit monument: Rijpma Siersmederij.

Ik vroeg hoe ze aan deze opdracht kwamen. Joop Atsma (Surhuisterveen) nam contact op met ons bedrijf in opdracht van de manager van het Park Landal Kasteeldomein De Cauberg in Valkenburg. Het initiatief voor dit monument kwam van Joop Atsma en Gert Veenhuizen, manager van het vakantiepark Landal Kasteeldomein op de Cauberg.

Koninklijke onderscheiding voor Wobbe de Haan

Burgemeester Oebele Brouwer van Achtkarspelen reikte vrijdagavond 24 maart een Koninklijke onderscheiding aan Wobbe de Haan. De Haan werd benoemd tot Lid in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau. Brouwer decoreerde hem tijdens de algemene ledenvergadering van korfbalvereniging DTS.

De 61-jarige heer De Haan is in zijn woonplaats onderscheiden voor zijn vrijwillige verdiensten voor de samenleving. “De Haan is in aktyf persoan. Hy is in driuwende krêft en sit net graach stil”, sprak de burgemeester. “By de kuorbalferiening wurdt Wobbe de Haan net foar neat in geweldige motivator neamd.”

Anna-Margriet Loonstra gestart met ‘Gastâlderopfang it Súd’

Op woensdagmiddag 1 maart had ik een afspraak met Anna-Margriet, ik werd welkom geheten en uitgenodigd in de warme knusse huiskamer, het privé gedeelte van de woning. De kinderdagopvang is nu nog gesitueerd in de woonkeuken maar er wordt verbouwd. De bedoeling is dat de opvang straks achter de woonkeuken komt met de deuren op de tuin gericht zodat de kinderen heerlijk buiten kunnen spelen. We beginnen het gesprek over de dagopvang.
